My dad and I have a report on every Stags game since 1931.

	1930s
Staniforth	Chris Staniforth - Mansfield Town's leading goalscorer of all-time. Reports from the last 2 games in which Staniforth scored for the Stags. Both were in season 1931/32.
Darlington 1932	Mansfield come back from 3-0 down to get a 3-3 draw against Darlington with a late hat-trick from Harry Johnson in 1932.
	Mansfield set their record win, over the Millers in 1932. Report from the Mansfield and North Notts Advertiser.
	Stags record defeat since joining the league : 8-1 away to Walsall.
	Ted Harston scores 7 in one game in 1937. Report from the Mansfield and North Notts Advertiser.
	1940s
Lincoln 1944	Two games against Lincoln during the second world war.
	1950s
Notts County 1959	Stags beat Notts Co 3-0 to complete the double for the season.
	1960s
	Reports and facts on Stags goalkeeper Bob Wyllie, requested by his granddaughter.
Brentford	Stags beat Brentford away 3-1 in 1962, on the way to promotion.
Chesterfield 1962	Stags draw with Chesterfield 4-4 at Saltergate, and beat them 3-0 at Field Mill, on the way to promotion.
	Stags equal their record score of 9-2, against Hounslow in the FA Cup in 1962. Report from the CHAD.
	Stags thrash Crystal Palace 7-2 in the FA Cup in 1962, as Ken Wagstaff scores a hat-trick. Report from The CHAD.
	Stags are promoted by 0.118 of a goal in 1962/63.
Man City League Cup	Stags beat Manchester City in the League Cup 5-3 away in September 1964.
	Stags beat QPR 8-1 in 1965, with a hat-trick for Bill Curry. Report from The CHAD.
Barnsley 65	NEW: Stags win at Barnsley on the final day of the season, but miss out on promotion due to other results.
Swindon 65/66	Stags are hammered home and away by Swindon in season 1965/66.
Northampton 67	NEW: Stags score twice in the last few minutes to beat Northampton at Field Mill, with both goals by John Rowlands.
	Stags shock West Ham in the 5th round of the FA Cup to win 3-0 in 1969. West Ham had 3 World Cup winners in their side. Report from the CHAD and from the Guardian Journal. Also the 4th round against Southend now added.
Notts County	Stags beat Notts County 3-1 in 1969, in the League Cup. Report and photo from The CHAD.
	1970s
Blackpool FA Cup	Stags beat Blackpool 2-0 at Bloomfield Road in the FA Cup fourth round to earn a tie at Leeds.
	Stags in the fifth round of the FA Cup at Leeds in 1970. Report from the CHAD.
Southport	Stags thrash Southport 5-0 in 1970, with a hat-trick by Roberts and 2 for Duncan McKenzie, on his debut on loan.
	Stags thrash Chesterfield 6-2 in the League Cup in 1970, with a hat-trick by Malcolm Partidge.
	Stags play Liverpool over 2 legs in the League Cup in 1970. Reports of both legs.
Tranmere 6-2	Dudley Roberts scores 4 (and we've got photos of the first 3) as Stags maul Tranmere in February 1971.
	Chesterfield gain their revenge in the League Cup in 1971, with a 5-0 win at Field Mill - the first Stags game I ever attended!
Plymouth	Stags score their first home goal of the season in their tenth home match in December 1971 !!
	Stags beat Chesterfield 2-1 in January 1972, for their first home win of the season.
Lincoln / Pate goal	Sandy Pate scores his first ever Stags goal as Stags beat Lincoln 3-2 in August 1972, in the League Cup.
	Stags beat Darlington 5-0 in April 1973, in the penultimate game of the season ...
	... but in the final game, Stags lose at Cambridge to miss out on promotion from Division 4.
Stockport 5-0	Stags thrash Stockport 5-0 in October 1973, with a hat-trick by Terry Eccles.
	A 3-2 win at Brentford in the Division 4 Championship winning year, in 1974.

Shrewsbury	Stags beat Shrewsbury 3-1 in 1974
	Stags lose to First Division Carlisle in the Fifth round of the FA Cup in 1975
Rochdale 1-0	Stags beat Rochdale 1-0 at Spotland in March 1975.
	Kevin Bird scores a late winner as Stags come from behind twice to beat Exeter in 1975
	Lincoln are McCaffreyised at Field Mill in 1975

Derby County	Division 4 Champions Mansfield Town beat Division 1 Champions Derby County, in a testimonial game to show off the championships.
	Victories over First Division Coventry City and Wolves in Rounds 3 and 4, followed by defeat against First Division Manchester City in Round 5. Reports and pictures from the CHAD.
	Stags thrash Reading 4-0 as Kevin Randall nets all 4, in 1976.
Huddersfield FA Cup	Stags beat Huddersfield in the FA Cup in November 1976.
Sheff Wed 1-0	Stags beat Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 in January 1977 with a goal by Ernie Moss.
Oxford United	Stags beat Oxford 3-0 in 1977.
Port Vale	Stags thump Port Vale 4-1 at Vale Park on their way to promotion in April 1977.

Luton Town	Stags beat Hatters 3-1 in Division 2 in 1977.
Crystal Palace	NEW: Stags lose at home to Crystal Palace in December 1977.

Oldham	NEW: Stags win 1-0 at Oldham with a Johnny Miller goal in the old Division 2, in April 1978.
Orient / Pate goal	NEW: Sandy Pate scores his third and final ever Stags goal in a 1-1 draw with Orient in the old Division 2, in April 1978.
	Stags beat Partick Thistle on penalties in the Anglo-Scottish Cup Quarter-finals in 1978.
	Stags thrash Plymouth 5-0 with 2 goals by Dave Syrett in 1979.
	1980s
Crewe	Stags beat Crewe 4-1 at Field Mill in January 1981.
Port Vale 1981	NEW: Stags beat Port Vale 5-0 at Field Mill in January 1981 with all the goals in the first half. Photos all five goals !!
Rochdale 4-3	Stags beat Rochdale 4-3 at Field Mill in November 1981.
	Stags beat Torquay 3-1 in May 1982: great photos of goals by Caldwell, Bell and Nicholson, in front a record low post-war league attendance at Field Mill.
Hull City	John Dungworth scores 2 as Stags beat Hull 3-1 in 1983.

Colchester	Stags beat Colchester 2-1 at Field Mill in October 1985 with goals by Luke and Chamberlain.
Swindon 85 away	Stags lose 2-1 at Swindon in November 1985.
Aldershot	Stags beat Aldershot 2-0 with 2 goals by Neil Whatmore. Photos of both goals and a missed penalty, from January 1986.

Chesterfield 1989	Stags beat Chesterfield 3-1 in May 1989 as the CHAD asks if Ian Hathaway is the new McCaffrey and Keith Cassells goes in goal in his last match at Field Mill.
	1990s
Birmingham 5-2	Stags beat Birmingham City 5-2, with all five goals by Steve Wilkinson, in April 1990.
Swansea City	Stags beat Swansea 2-0 for their first home win of the season in November 1990, with 2 goals by Steve Wilkinson.
Cardiff 3-0	Stags beat Cardiff City 3-0 at Field Mill in October 1991.
Scunthorpe 4-1	Stags beat Scunthorpe 4-1 away in October 1991.
	Stags thump York 5-2 in Division 4 in 1992.
Crewe 4-3	Stags beat Crewe 4-3 at Field Mill in March 1992 on the way to promotion.
Halifax 3-2	Stags beat Halifax 3-2 in April 1992 with a hat-trick by Phil Stant.
	Stags are promoted from Division 4 in 1992, after beating Rochdale, while Lincoln beat Blackpool. Reports from The CHAD and Evening Post.
	Stags win 1-0 at Stockport, with a goal by Stringfellow, to win the Barclays Performance of the Week award in 1993.
	Stags beat Scarborough 4-2, under the brief caretaker managership of Billy Dearden in 1993.

Wigan 4-3	Stags beat Wigan 4-3 at Field Mill to take their goals tally to 29 in 8 games in January 1995.
Lincoln 6-2	Iffy Onuora scores a hat-trick in 7 minutes as Stags beat Lincoln 6-2.
Wigan 6-2	NEW: Stags win 6-2 at Wigan in October 1995 with a Stewart Hadley hat-trick.
	Daley Thompson appears on the subs bench for the Stags in 1995!
	Nicky Weaver's only game for the Stags, at Cambridge in 1996.
Peterborough 1998	NEW: Stags beat Peterborough 2-0 at Field Mill with Gary Tallon's first goal for the club and another for Steve Whitehall.
	Stags beat Manchester City 2-1 at Maine Road in the Auto Windscreen Shield in 1998.
	Stags beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 in the second leg of the Worthington Cup in 1999, albeit losing the tie on aggregate.
